Coco

Coco is bij ons terechtgekomen via voc Oostende .  Het dier werd afgestaan omdat de eigenaar niet meer tegen het geroep van de papegaai kon.  Ondertussen is de papegaai samengeplaatst met andere ara?s om terug een groep te vormen.  De dieren leven nu samen en genieten van een mooie toekomst.

Jaca is bij ons terechtgekomen via NHC Opglabeek.  het dier werd achtergelaten omwille van het vele lawaai waardoor de eigenaar last kreeg met de buren.

The blue-and-yellow macaws love to live in the tropical forests of South-America.

They love to eat seeds, nuts and fruit.

Outside of the breeding season, these macaws live in large groups. This way, while most of them are looking for food, a few will stand guard.
