These African giant snails come from a private owner who no longer wanted to care for the animals. They were taken in as a group and can live together in De Zonnegloed for the rest of their lives.

Covy was found in a box by a salesman from an African fruit and vegetable shop and simply put out on the street. Probably without knowing that it was an exotic animal. The animal was noticed by a passer-by and taken home to be cared for. When the woman realised that she could not provide enough care for Covy, she contacted us to offer him a dignified life with the other Giant African land snails.

Where does he feel most at home?
